Moby Dick featuring Mickey and Donald

Goodname created the illustrations for Disney Publishing’s retelling of Moby Dick — Herman Melville’s classic story reimagined with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck as the central characters.

The illustration work required maintaining the visual identity of the Disney characters while placing them within the dramatic, seafaring world of the original novel.

Each piece was produced to Disney Publishing’s specifications for use in the finished book.
